Winter is here for good ! The garden is now covered with a tick coat of soft snow. I can see the neighbors made some fire, by the smoke that slowly rises above the white roofs.I like this silent ambiant, it seems everything is coated with cotton, the air is calm and quiet. Perfect conditions for more sewing work !
This season usually inspires me with covering, warm designs, and this time again it worked.
The Joan Satin Ensembles feature a classic corset and triangle panties, for which I picked the most rich and finely grained satin, together with carefully hand crafted lace. Wicca’s Wardrobe: Trouble
Today, while I was driving home from RL work, they played an older song from P!NK at the radio – “Trouble”. I did not hear that song in ages and as I arrived at home I had to listen a few more times to it. During that I logged into SL and started my SL day as usually with making some styles for the blog, I saw that little note beside my keyboard that reminded me of styling a casual corset outfit, like I promised in my last corset post.
Still the song “Trouble” from P!NK was running on my itunes and I could not resist… so the casual styling still have to be done somewhen, as this one turned out very punky :p
But even that is possible with the corsets of NV Corsetry 
Again I am very glad that I can show, that corsets have such a wide style range 
Even the music industry in RL discovered that again and again. Singers like Lady Gaga, Pink, Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation) and many others include corsets in their stage outfits. They simply add a sexy and elegant touch to everything what you wear and do not disturb any styling
For the shoes the choice fell on one of the newest Redgrave boots called “Bonnie Boots”. This boots really rock. You will get 2 versions in one pack, one with golden and one with solver hardware and sole. The combination of leather and cotton really makes this super-higheeled plateau boots perfect for every occasion.
To make the look perfect I added one of my favourite LeeZu jeans and a casual shirt as well from LeeZu.
But now it is time to switch the music and say bye bye to P!NK for now :p

“Lollipop” meets “Candybird” – Cute News from GizzA & Finesmith!!!
The “LolliPop” dress of GizzA got an old song stuck in my head like an earworm… (Tunes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rYoRaxgOE0). With hearing that song I started to style the latest release from GizzA. For sure it had to be something cute and kinda vintage. The “LolliPop” dress it self can be styled in many different way as it comes in a wide color range as well The typical glasses for the vintage look I found at artilleri and for sure I had to add some super cute booties.The huge skirt part still is very filigree made and the glitter texture gives the whole dress a very special shine. The chest part is decorated with a lovely ruffle that brings back the theme of the wide, short skirt. The sheer gloves make a perfect finish for this dress and are also included in the color you pick. “LolliPop” you can now find at the GizzA Mainstore.
The super cute Finesmith booties were released right in time to combine them with the GizzA dress… for my case it was kinda fate :p, as it totally matched my vision of this styling. The “Candybird” booties as well come in a lot of different colors. So you could try to mix and match different colors of “LolliPop” and “Candybird” as well.If you make your way to the Finesmith Mainstore you can find them at the little inside store, the shoe section.
For the hair I again used one of the new styles of Urban Lutz. Urban Lutz is a very new hairstore and it has already it’s trademark and more and more people feel be attracted by this idea. Taylor Wassep only does blond and black hair. The styles are very modern and fresh and mostly it is hair attachments what is a huge favour of mine anyways . Until now Taylor has no hair bases included but the colors of the blond and black she has, go easily with all the hairbases we anyways have in our inventorys… I tried that If you are alway on the run and search new hair like me, you should try Urban Lutz

Awesome Mesh News from Violator!!!
Today I have the pleasure, to showcase the latest release of Violator. “Di Vernice”, a wonderful gown with a combination of mesh and prims parts. This elegant gown again shows the awesome skills of soraya Vaher, owner and designer of Violator. She can combine the most different pats and fabrics and she makes it look artistic and very high fashion.
This time she made this awesome sexy and as well very elegant dress of vinyl. A very difficult texture to make and to work with I was told. The lights and shadows are so amazing set that you can see the fabric shine and reflect the light in an awesome way. The bottom part of the dress is opened at the sides and shows the long sexy legs of every fashionista. The skirt is made of wonderful flexible prims and the top part with the short skirt is made with the new mesh technique. Soraya included 5 different sites of the mesh part so that you can find the right one for your shape. If you take a closer look on the jewelry parts that decorate the skirt, they are part of the “Di Vernice” as well. A beautiful platinum rank that goes up till your waist where it is connected to the belt. The incredible “Di Vernice”, here shown in black/platin as well is available in 3 more stunning colors like black/gold, red/gold and purple/gold at the Violator Mainstore.
The wonderful eyepiece as well is part of the outfit and brings back the skirt decoration in a beautiful way around the eyes. The eye decoration really adds some extra elegance again to the wonderful “Di Vernice” dress.
To complete the look I just added earrings from Finesmith and hair from a very new but super cool store… Urban Lutz. The creative head behind Urban Lutz is Taylor Wassep. She only features black and blond hairstyles. “Lotus” is one of her latest releases.

Snowpaws is an amazing store for new residents, from a price range of free – 280L$. They are very newcomer friendly with 24 Lucky 
letter boards, 6 Midnight Mania board and 4 Slap & Dash board. The store is modern looking and very open, the decor is minimal and with a beautiful atmosphere to shop. Snowpaws is also involved in many hunts in Second Life.
There aren’t any Mens clothes sadly, but you quickly forget about that when you their music of Pop and R&B distracts you for a second or you see your letter on one of the many prize boards.
Newcomer friendly: 8 out of 10

Here Comes the Bride: An SL Wedding
A few weeks ago I introduced the Weddings of Second Life, now its time to show what a Second Life Wedding looks like and how to get one. Of course you need to be engaged to be married first of all and you can’t do that without being an Second Life Relationship. If you haven’t realized yet time in Second Life moves fast and as soon as you first that special someone you share a connection with. It isn’t long before you are asking her/him for their hand in marriage. Here is the Second Life Wedding/ Partnering of June Carlson and Smorkola Resident very much in love allowed us to document their Second Life Wedding. This is the Second Life Wedding that has been done on a Budget, using only clothes from the store Grumble Grumble and their wedding venue Eversong. We used the gift cards that are already available through the in store Mini & Midnight Mania boards which are available to Grumble’s ever-growing shoppers.

As Bride and Groom stand at the aisle exchanging their vows to each other you can see that the traditional ceremony in Second Life isn’t much different from a real life one. Bride Maids, Maid of Honor with the best man and grooms men with families on each side.
Usually the Bridal parties’ outfits would cost a bit more than 1000 dollars each:
