Bubblez Designs has some really nice items out right now, and I thought I’d show them to you, along with lots of freebies and sale items that I picked up in the last few days. This is the time of year for gifts, and boy, have our designer friends been generous!
First up is a gorgeous new outfit from Bubblez, which is *not* free, but is a total bargain for all you get. The Blood Rose outfit comes with the dress with lots of sculpted embellishments, gloves, legcuffs, earrings, shoes (not the ones I’m wearing though), and the hair with ornaments. It also comes with the hair ornaments separate so that you can wear your own hair with it. It’s easily resizeable, too. The Bubblez Doll Shoes are not part of this outfit, but they are another new release from that store. The shoes that come with the dress are pretty, but they’re flats and I prefered the way these cut-out heel shoes with lace socks looked with the dress.
Aren’t the shoes cute? And they come in lots of other colors, too, besides this Blood Rose pair. You can also get a closer look at the beautiful sculpted rose and chains adornments on the outfit. So cool! The skin I’m wearing is a recent gift from [VoiD] – check the notices for the “Share the Love” gift. I’ve added the makeup tattoo from the Gala Phoenix group gift coz I love love those red lips! I’ve also added new piercings from Haus of Darcy, which has lots of newness out right now. HoD also has done new colors for their piercings – like a pretty pomegranate, green, purple, and blue. I’m wearing the Lisbeth piercing in the color called Seep (red). The green Starlight eyes are a Christmas gift from the Plastik.
Next up is a L$12 Fur Vest from Bubblez, with which I’ve created a LOTD. I never do those (mostly coz they’re time consuming to put together), but some recent additions to my inventory just begged me to throw them together. So, here I’m wearing a very cool mesh skirt from Aura, which is having a sale right now. It comes in lots of colors, and with or without the skull on the side. Love that skirt! The awesome boots are from the hot, new store Death Row Designs. These are the Boundcuffed Chain boots in black. They come in tons of other dirty colors, too. They’re messy and worn and totally cool. You gotta love boots with handcuffs, am I right? :D The shirt worn under the fur vest is from Roots, the clothing annex of RedMint, which is also having a huge sale right now. The skull top (which is for guys, I think, but worked for me under the vest), also comes with the ripped, chained gloves and a hoodie.
The beautiful skin is a special Christmas makeup of Illusory’s Paige skin line. It’s available as part of the Year End Sale at Illusory, Aura, Cheeky Pea, and a few other stores working together. The necklaces (I’m wearing two) are from Forsaken – the red one is the Biohazard Batty necklace, and the longer one is the Key to the Beyond Necklace. The hair is also relatively new – this is Wasabi Pills’ Clementine style which has a color-change hairtie. Unfortunately, SL was being stupid for me and not allowing me to change the color of the hairband. It was no big deal though since I was wearing black and grey anyway. 
Finally, the piercings are again from Haus of Darcy, this is a reworking of the popular Crow’s Crux piercing set. Aydan has added new colors, including this pretty red Seep color. The piercing comes with and without the crow feather dangling from your mouth.
Finally, I have one more LOTD outfit to show you, again built around an item from Bubblez Designs.
This is the relatively new Bubblez Winter Jacket in a nicely done black leather. It includes the cute chained tie, and also comes with a version without the tie, and the tie separately. You can mix and match to your heart’s content. The teensy, barely there, mini is another sale item from Roots – the high waisted mini jeans set. The Death Row Designs boots here are the blue version of the Boundcuffed Chained boots. The hair is part of Exile’s Christmas subscribo gift. I think this is meant to be a guy’s style, but I love it! The skin is the Curio group gift Angel skin, worn in the Moonbeam tone. I have to say that I love the skin, but I wish it had darker eyebrows! This is the “dark” version, too! I tried to find an eyebrow tattoo in my inventory, to no avail. But, I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, so thank you Gala; I love the skin, especially the makeup tattoo with the full, red lips! The earrings are part of Emo-tions’ Christmas gifts, which (sadly) have been removed. Yep, the tree is gone, and poor little Kat didn’t get a chance to grab them. :/ One last item to mention is the third new release piercing from Haus of Darcy. This is the Reach Piercing set in the green color called Tide. It took me quite awhile to fit the separate pieces, but I think it was totally worth it. HoD makes the coolest piercings, don’t they?

Hey, I’m back again after another long pause. My desktop went kaput after a nearby lightning strike, and it took me awhile to get it fixed. Sigh. Maybe the gods are trying to tell me something. Nah….. So, I really feel like I am completely out of the loop on all things SL-Fashion related. Luckily, Belladonna from !WhAtEvR! also recently returned to SL after a long pause and she thought of me and my little semi-dormant blog. So, here I am to promote her wares. 
Whatever has a new location (see LM below) and a few new items, plus a lucky toilet, a Midnight Mania, and I’m pretty sure a Riot Vendor. True to form, Bella also has some gifts for her visitors.
This is a new release, which is not free, but is quite a bargain anyway. It’s the Flying Fox avatar, and it comes with everything shown except the shape, hair, and wings. I just love those long, long claws on the hands and feet. If you like the wings, Bella recommends, and I agree, the Sculpted Demon Wings from Sensations. You can get them on the Marketplace, too. That’s what I did. More about the wings at the end of this post.
This lovely white version of the Flying Fox avatar (albino version, actually) is free to members of !WhAtEvR!’s inworld group. It comes with everything the black version does, except in white. I’m still wearing the Sensations’ wings, which are color change – oh yeah!
Another new release at !WhAtEvR! is this sexy little number, which last time I checked was also available in the Midnight Mania board.
It’s a super short black leather mini skirt with a laced leather corset and leather gloves with sculpted bunches. You get several wearing/layer options for all the pieces, including showing your nips or not. The shoes I’m wearing are from Roots – and please do *not* zoom in on them. I thought they went perfectly with the outfit, but I wasn’t able to edit the color of the prim feet to match my new skin. If you wear skin from RedMint though, they’ll match perfectly. Being rather rusty at GIMPing after my long absence, I did an awful job post-processing them to match. Don’t worry, I would have told you the pics were post-processed even if I had been successful at it. The skin is another piece of good news – it’s new and free. It comes in this makeup – Pale Dark Beauty – and one other – for free. Did I mention they’re free? 
Here’s another shot I took of the group gift Albino Flying Fox avatar – a closeup. I am constantly amazed at how well ploom’s hair textures match just about any look I throw together. Helyanwe has so many colors, you’re sure to find the perfect tone.
Ok. Before I leave you, I must tell you more about those fantastic wings from Sensations. I’m sure they’ve been blogged, but maybe you’ve been away like me. So, they are color change, you get both male and female versions (incubus and succubus) in one folder, and they are amazingly animated. They flap, fold, spread – all HUD controlled. And they are a bargain at under L$700. You can check them out (and even buy them) here.

the corset (of which i can *never* seem to have enough!), skirt && stockings are all from roots. and when i think of the clothing i own from roots, i always think of nice quality.. lovely textures.. and the fact that everything i’ve ever bought from there makes me feel like i ooze the sexy. and who doesn’t want that!? haha~ low necklines, short hemlines, see-through mesh && juuuust enough to keep all the lady bits covered (mostly! teehee). if i’m going for that particular kinda look, ’cause y’know.. i like to be all *sex kitten* every once in a while , roots is definitely awesome for hookin’ a girl up.

keeping up with all the sales on the grid sometimes is a li’l overwhelming. i try to stay on top of it, but sometimes i just caaaan’t. you gotta be kinda picky when it comes to which sales you go to (or, if you’re me, you gotta actually *remember* what sales are goin’ on!), but they are worth it if your inventory is looking sparse. unlike mine, which seems to be a black hole for clothing and hair and shoes and skins. but even that doesn’t stop me from ravaging a good sale when i see one. it’s like i can’t stop myself!
