Stumblebum Brigade – Insanity

It’s time once again for Stumblebum, and this round features so much goodness it’s unreal! Twice a month, two teams of ten designers each (plus guests) place out items for a two week period which have been designed around a theme word, a palette and are discounted by 25%. Items typically include clothing, accessories, decor and poses. The theme for this round is Insanity, and the colors are perfect for the theme and the time of year. With so many of my favorite designers included in this round, it is extremely difficult for me to choose a personal favorite; so, I’m going to go with a designer that I had never heard of until today! I was extremely impressed with HANDverk’s jewelry sets; the design, construction and texturing is exquisite, and I cannot wait to see more from this designer. Sale items will be available through the end of the month

Calling All Ancestors

A new pose prop from (*chanimations gives you the ability to call on ancestors long departed. Reaper of Lost Souls is the ninth in the Sourceress set. While this will not replace my personal favorite (Power of Word - Set 3), I SO love the colors and effects.

Before we move on to all the things this prop can do, please take note of my new mesh hair, SCYTHIA midnight from eXxEsS. This is one of two new releases, similar in style. SAGA is the same sleek long hair that drapes beautifully down the back but with what I think of as a "big hair" look. SAGA would be the style for you large gals that can carry it off. Both come in an extensive variety of colors.

The prop comes with staff and book, both transfer should you need to pass them along temporarily to a model. Poses as always are included singly as well as in a stand and multi-pose ball.

The prop has a variety of poses built in with kneels, stands and lunges included. Click the skull pile, book or staff to get a menu.

And if drama is your thing? Well here ya go! LOVE this green. By clicking the rat (foreground left) you can access a menu with all sorts of lovely effects. This model let's you choose the size of the various parts as well as turn ghostly particles on and off. There are also three built in combos if you are not the type that likes to play.

Tali's Photo Box Adventure

In my wandering through Kerebely Free Photo Studio again today and came across a pose box that was perfect for the grunge look I was wanting to feature on my blog today.

It was just a box with some crates in the center with a building texture all around it. The poses in the crates made me laugh so hard I couldn't resist using it for a few images.

Even though I had a good time playing around, I just wasn't able to get the look I wanted so I thought I would take a look at the maker of the box to see if they had any other boxes like it. I was happy to see that the crate was actually a free gift from Lemons & Cream. So I came up with an idea of making a photo box of my own.

So I hopped over and picked up the crates from Lemons & Cream along with a few other nice little pose freebies and skipped home to create my new little pose box. Of course I had to do a bit of shopping first, I needed to get textures, props and other little stuffs. After several hours I did it..had the perfect scene I wanted for my grunge look. Each of the walls are texture change and the crates and lamp have poses in them.

They have a lot of other styles in their store on market place so if your looking for a good quality animal print tattoo, check them out.

The vibrant hair style is Tameless Hair Shena II, Grape, 99L. The skin is by WoW Skins, Diva Milk makeup 3. Eyes are by Mayfly - Deep Sky Mesh Eye (Absinthe Shadow, w3), 99L. The awesome mesh jewelry is by Maxi Gossamer. The necklace is the Jeweled Skull And Heart Necklace Set - Silver And Sapphires 299L and rings are Giselle Black Opal Set, 99L. The Bracelet is by +DV8+, called Deathrock Candy Bracelet, a past hunt gift. Don’t Rock the Jukebox

It’s late and I’m down at the local Waffle House for a late night meal and some music. I didn’t think the waitress would get that angry when I played the jukebox. I found several group gifts at G.O.T.H. like the Leo Outfit. The jacket, t-shirt and jeans also include the Dennis Boots.

Another group gift at G.O.T.H. is the Fabio Outfit. The black shirt and jeans also includes a buckled vest and boots.

The Lucas Outfit is a bib overall that comes in both blue and black. Shoes are included with this outfit also and also comes with a tattoo.

TOSL – Freestylin’

After a two week hiatus, Taste of Second Life is back in full force with us this weekend. Each weekend designers throughout the Second Life grid place out items designed around a theme. This weekend’s theme is Freestylin’; so, anything goes! Items typical to TOSL include clothing, poses, accessories, makeup and decor. I have two personal favorites with this round: the adorable dress from the newly added store Lil’Lace and the pose prop from Juxtapose. Sale items will be out through midnight Sunday SLT.

Checking In

Just checking in; not too much to share. I haven't been lazy, I've just been trying on lots of new releases that don't seem to fit. I have even done some hunting.

Even the prettiest pictures can stay too long, so I wanted to change the top photo on The Blog. Here you have a very fun prop attachment from Juxtapose on the Cupcake War Hunt 2. There are two other versions in the pack, but this was by far my favorite. I can't give a thumbs up to this hunt which I did about half of. With no SLURLs on the blog and lots of stores missing or not ready, it was difficult to follow the train. And since most prizes featured cupcakes ... Well just not my kind of hunt.

I gave up when I reached a place with TONS of decoys. But just for fun or especially if you are a blogger that does a lot of skin posts, make a stop and look for a cupcake as the prize object.

Izzie's: Dailyn Skin

Izzie's lançou uma nova skin, Dailyn, que está disponível em 6 tons de pele e vem com maquiagem natural. Dailyn tem um rostinho mais jovem que as anteriores, isso se nota pelos lábios no estilo "coração". A parte da maquiagem fica a seu critério, pois batons e sombras vem em tattoos. São 12 sombras, 10 batons e mais alguns diferenciais: 2 batons naturais e as sardas não vem mais na skin, e sim em tattoo. Mais duas cores de sombrancelhas (na skin) foram adicionadas: loira e ruiva. Izzie’s released a new skin, Dailyn, available in 6 skin tones with natural make-up. Dailyn is a bit different than the previous skins – 2 more lipsticks and eyeshadows were added, freckles come no longer on the skin but on tattoo layers and 2 more eyebrow options were added: blonde and red (on skin) + 10 lipsticks and 12 eyeshadows. Cleavage and non-cleavage option on the skin as aways. I'm showing Dailyn in caramel tone. Check the demos at the store!

ALB & BehaviorBody para Ashraya Proyect.

Hoy he traido dos artículos que se pueden econtrar en los Sims de The Ashraya Project, donde durante este mes se van a recaudar fondos para este proyecto cuyo objeto es proporcionar artículos de primera necesidad y dar acceso a la educación a los niños en la India que carecen de ambas cosas.

El primero es este vestido de ALB. Es un vestido inspirado en el más puro estilo hindú y que a mi entender esconde al menos tres vestidos, todo depende del modo en que decidas llevarlo, vestido largo, corto, túnica y pantalones… Recuerda que sólo está disponible en el sim de The Asharaya Proyect, aunque hay uno muy parecido en la tienda principal de ALB, como regalo de grupo de este mes.

El segundo es esta silla, creada por BehaviorBody para The Ashara Project. La silla tiene 8 colores diferentes para esta textura de piel y 18 poses que se cambian gracias a un script. sólo está disponible en The Asharaya Project, así que no lo dudes, pásate a echarle un vistazo si te gustan las fotos es un buen prop para tener.

Ohsoy!

Baiastice group members were sent the blue Ohsoy mesh dress a few days ago. I love the texture on this cute little dress. There is a L$50 enrollment fee to join the Baiastice group and members receive monthly gifts. The yellow handbag is a gift at Finesmith. The Charlize hair comes in a three color pack for only L$75 from Mina Hair at the Tropicalia Big Bazaar. The jewelry is a past gift from GaNKeD.
